The 2025 Axol Stratastem sAD Panel introduces a new collection of 20 ethically sourced iPSC lines from patients with sporadic Alzheimer’s Disease (sAD) and matched controls. Developed in partnership between Axol Bioscience and StrataStem, this panel is designed to support preclinical in vitro model building and drug discovery.

Key Highlights:

  • 20 iPSC lines: Gender-mixed, age-relevant to Late-Onset AD, with full ethical and commercial consent
  • Genotyped for APOE status: Includes E2/E3, E3/E3, E3/E4, and E4/E4 variants with associated amyloid beta status and clinical history
  • Custom manufacturing available: Differentiation into:
    • Cortical Excitatory Neurons
    • Cortical Inhibitory Interneurons
    • Microglia
    • Astrocytes
  • Applications: Patient stratification, co-culture modeling, 3D brain microtissues, and compound screening
  • Scientific context: Explores the role of APOE ε4 in amyloid clearance, tau pathology, and neuroinflammation
  • Validated against McKhann criteria: Ensures clinical relevance and consistency in donor selection
